PROMABLANKET®General Description
PROMABLANKET® is a flexible intumescent fire barrier based on Grafitex technology developed by Promat, encapsulated in coated cloth.
When correctly installed around cables and cable trays PROMABLANKET® will prevent the spread of flame along cables.
PROMABLANKET® is used for applications in electrical sub stations, cable tunnels and industrial applications where cable fires are common place and can lead not only to massive down time in production but also the rapid spread of fire and smoke which could cause loss of life and property.
PROMABLANKET® is supplied with Velcro Strip attached to assist in placement until strapped into position.
PROMABLANKET® has been successfully tested for Category A cable configuration to IEC 60332-3-22:2000 (AS/NZS1660.5.1:2005 Sect 4 ).
