PROMATECT® 40
General Description
PROMATECT® 40 is a versatile multi-purpose board developed by Promat using the newest matrix technology which combines organic and inorganic minerals to form
a monolithic mineral matrix core. This Cement Bound Matrix is symmetrically reinforced between two noncombustible fibre mesh and compressed together to form a flat board
with numerous unique properties suitable for various heavy duty applications.
The white front face of the board is finished with a skimcoat and is perfectly smooth. It can thus be used as a fair face without any architectural treatment, if so required. A thin fibre mesh is revealed on the back face.
The Cement Bound Matrix manufacturing process is very economical on energy. It does not require high temperatures for curing or drying and, in addition, at least 25% of the composition is comprised of recycled waste.
This is truly an environmental friendly board with an exceptionally small carbon footprint which makes next to none or very little contribution to green house gases.
